This all wool, lightweight throw blanket started life in my head as a double weave/double width blanket (woven as two layers with a fold on one side).
 
Once I had started threading the heddles I liked the way the colours worked so much I decided to spread it out and thread it as a single layer instead.
 
The warp is rich autumnal stripes on a dark chocolate background, bound together with a soft orange nubby yarn in the weft. The twisted fringe reminds me of fireworks. Another one of my favourites.
