Alpaca trekking in the Cheviot Hills.
What we like:
It's just a lot of fun. You lead an alpaca round the hillside. There's scenery. There's alpacas. It's somehow quite relaxing. They'll bring the alpacas to The Five Turrets if you want a tailored trekking experience for a group.
In their own words:
"A family owned smallholding located in the stunning Cheviot Hills, close to St Cuthbert’s Way. Beirhope truly is a hidden gem and we would love to share it with you on one of our fabulous Alpaca Treks.
We are within easy reach of Jedburgh, boasting the stunning Abbey, and Kelso, home to the spectacular Floors Castle.
Come and visit us to enjoy the scenery and our local wildlife. Forget the hustle and bustle while relaxing on one of our many Alpaca trekking routes. Walks can be arranged to suit your own needs, from meeting the Alpaca’s and a gentle stroll round our paddocks to the various walk options.
Our Alpacas are all boys and they love to be fussed over and out walking. Our routes take in rolling hills where you will see some spectacular views. For those younger visitors or those who may find the hills a challenge we have other options to suit."
